Accessible from the Aiguille du Midi cable car, this 20km long and 2000m descent offers off-piste skiing in a high mountain environment on glacial terrain (with crevasses, seracs, fragile snow bridges...) which requires ski mountaineering skills, if not hiring a guide.
You must be equipped with a transceiver, shovel, probe, harness and crampons which are recommended for the ridge and all glacier gear. Remember: NEVER GO ALONE !
