This mountain awareness program was design to answer the needs of the valley primary schools. Young children are taught about their natural alpine environment and its impact on our daily life with regards to safety and the local culture.
The program: during winter time, children participate in 3 educational workshops to test and improve their knowledge. Instruction is backed up with a small comprehensive reference book.
Each year, the Prev’ Risk Montagne centre displays animations to familiarize teenagers to winter conditions and resulting hazards ( impacting them individually or conditions overall).
A“ Freeride jeunes” tutoring program is also available for young skiers to improve their skills and teach them how to adapt their behaviour while skiing off-piste. In french only
